2016 Federation Scholarship Presentation

June 21, 2016

On June 21, 2016, Pasquale Meola, President of the Federation of Italian American Societies of New Jersey presented our Annual High School Scholarships at our Scholarship Dinner Meeting held at Ravello’s Restaurant in East Hanover.

Our 2016 High School Scholarships were presented to Dean and Robert Manetta, graduates of Montville High School.  Both brothers will be attending Quinnipiac University in Connecticut in the fall majoring in Engineering.  They are the dear grandsons of Lina Manetta, a dedicated and active Federation member.

The Federation was honored to congratulate and salute our newest member Louise Palagano of Bloomfield, NJ.

The Federation’s purpose and goal is to enhance public awareness about the Italian American Heritage, their accomplishments and culture.  Working with the various Italian Organizations, we encourage and support the study of the Italian language in high schools, colleges and universities. We look forward to preserving our heritage by supporting and promoting the next generation through our scholarships.
